Well we are in the middle of summer and the warm weather.

Thursday July 18 th – Evas Village Elizabeth Spaeht – Speaker presented by Dr. Pete did a great job of presenting on programs for parents with issues and how they keep the families together. Ed Lang speaking with Elizabeth, see photo below:
Saturday September 14, 2019 - Klas Haglid, as Direct of Hiking and Canoe will sponsor a trip to hike Hook Mountain. It is a beautiful tree covered trail winding up from Nyack about 20 minute drive from Paramus. More details to follow, please RSVP if interested.
With the high heat index it is important to remember it is not just the outdoor temperature, but the humidity and ultimately the heat index. The heat index has been over a 100 degrees F several days and we should see more this weekend.
Tips to deal with the warm weather. It is not the actual temperature, but the heat index. To many people the added humidity is a bigger problem than the temperature. People cool themselves with sweat and evaporative cooling with high humidity this ability goes away. Plan on have a cool place of refuge from the heat and stay hydrated.
