RAYMOND R. WELLS BANDSHELL DEDICATION CEREMONY AND THANK YOU PARAMUS ROTARY NIGHT A GREAT SUCCESS
A Dedication Ceremony took place on July 24 and again on July 30, 2018 for the newly refurbished RAYMOND R. WELLS BAND SHELL. Thru the hard work and donations of many Paramus Rotary Club members, the band shell has been completely updated and remodeled including the addition of a professional sign and Rotary Club logo as pictured above.
Fred Rohdieck, Ed Lang, Phil Wells and PRC Past President and Past District Governor Peter Wells, and Mayor Richard LaBarbiera were all involved the rededication of the Band Shell some 49 years after it was first conceived by Ray Wells and constructed by the hard work of the former PRC members of a previous generation. A special thanks to all those who served on the committee and were involved in this restoration project. The Band Shell will serve as permanent tribute to Ray Wells and the Paramus Rotary Club, and for all the good deeds that have been accomplished over Rays 53 years as a Paramus Rotarian.
