We had a TON of fun at Music Trivia Night last Wednesday — great music, great food, and an even greater cause, all while raising funds for the many projects Paramus Rotary supports in our community. Thank you to Elaine Rovetto and the committee for organizing an outstanding event, to Regina Georges and Lingua Glossa House of Fragrance for sponsoring, and to Nick Laganella for hosting us at the Orange Lantern. Nights like this show the spirit and strength of our club. Here’s hoping this becomes a regular tradition!
Paramus High School students Alessia Bagasco, Olivia John, and Sophia Portes visited the club last Thursday with Principal Dominic Miller to share highlights from their Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) experience. They spoke about the leadership workshops, team‑building activities, and interactions with community leaders that strengthened their communication, confidence, and problem‑solving skills. They also reflected on how RYLA broadened their perspectives, equipped them with tools for future academic and personal goals, and helped them build lasting friendships with other service‑minded students.
