See you at Seasons Today and have a great lunch with great company! You never know who you will see!
Some info on next week’s speaker, Monica Iken, is presenting what promises to be a moving and life-affirming speech.
Monica Iken is the founder of September's Mission, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization devoted to building a positive and meaningful legacy out of the events surrounding 9/11. Iken lost her husband Michael, a bond broker on the 84th floor of Tower Two, in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Iken channeled her grief into establishing September's Mission soon after September 11, 2001. In January 2002, New York Governor George Pataki appointed Iken to the Family Advisory Committee of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation.
It is due in large part to Iken’s tireless efforts that a lasting memorial was established on the footprints of the Twin Towers, honoring all the victims of this horrific tragedy.
Is that Kevin in the shopping cart?
