Relay for Life Paramus is June 12th and 13th
There's a new way to Relay this year! All the information can be found
here! You can register for
Relay for Life Paramus, raise money and join the festivities.
This year it is a 2 part event. June 12th is the drive thru Luminaria at Paramus High School, and June 13th is the drive thru relay at Westfield Garden State Plaza. Here is the break down of the schedule:
Opening Ceremony
Time to get started. We kick off the event by honoring everyone who's been affected by cancer and everyone who has contributed to the success of this year's Relay season.
Survivor/Caregiver Walk
Survivors and Caregivers are the heart and soul of Relay For Life events. We honor their strength and courage with every step they take. It doesn't matter if you were diagnosed 10 days ago or 10 years ago, you can walk while everyone gathers together to cheer you on.
Luminaria Ceremony
During this ceremony we represent everyone touched by cancer with a Luminaria. Each light represents a life—a life taken by cancer, a survivor of cancer, or a support for a person still fighting the disease. It's a powerful demonstration that gives people the opportunity to grieve but also offers comfort and hope.
Closing Ceremony
Our closing ceremony is the time to commit to take action and help lead the fight for a world free from cancer. It's a time to celebrate what we've accomplished together and a time to unify for the work that needs to be done moving forward.

Camp Nejeda Service Project on May 20, 2021
Located in Newton NJ, Camp Nejeda is an non-profit foundation that enhances the lives of children with Type 1 diabetes and their families through education, empowerment, camaraderie, supportive programs and, most of all, fun, since 1958.
Six Paramus Rotarians trekked out to Camp Nejeda to help clean, rake, paint and repair areas in need of attention. Vice President Klas Haglid repaired the ice maker -- just in time for Summer -- while President Elect Dawn Feorenzo toured the grounds!
A good time was had by all for this worthwhile endeavor of Service Above Self.

The May 27, 2021 meeting will be a Round Table Meeting.
Please come out for a great fellowship lunch as we catch up in preparation for the Holiday weekend ahead and the start of Summer!
