We enjoyed the company of 26 members and guests at last week's meeting. Wafaa Saad was our guest speaker. She has over ten years of experience in the area of Mental Health at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and over five years working with domestic violence victims at the WAFAA house, Women Rizing Shelter, and Strength Our Sisters. We also had a busy week with the 4th Grade Spelling Bee and the Blood Donation. Thank you to all those who participated. Your names have been submitted for extra makeup credit. Please click on the photo album links to see the pictures of these 2 events.
The next Board meeting will be on February 12. All are welcomed to join us @ Bacari Grill at 6:30. Dinner cost is $35 cash only. All past recorded minutes are available on ClubRunner.

WAFAA - Woman And Family Ascending Association
It's a nonprofit organization that helps families and/or individuals through various social programs.
WAFAA's Mission - strengthen families and the community through education in order to reduce isolation, build connections within and between families, and throughout the community. They have 24 hour support, referrals for assistance, children's therapy, crisis intervention, career development, court assistance, anger management, translation assistance, immigration paperwork, foster parent assistance, food pantry, cultural sensitivity training and social service. WAFAA is able to cater to the individual’s needs.
Based in Paterson and Wayne, but serve the northern NJ area.
With 100% participation from ALL of our members, this can be a very successful event. Any of the following donations will go a long way in making sure of this: Gift cards, Gift baskets, Merchandise, Services, Donations
