STEM, now known as STEAM, is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.  Noting the new addition to include the Arts.  The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!

East Brook Middle School will be hosting a STEAM Fair on Friday, April 26, 2019.  They are looking for presenters to help bridge the gap between concepts learned in school and real world applications.  Foster and awareness and interests in the 5 topics of S.T.E.A.M. careers by sharing your professional knowledge with the students.  If you can share your knowledge in either of the two time slots on that day, please email gherring@paramus.k12.nj.us or amahfouz@paramus.k12.nj.us  THANK YOU.
