This week was the installation of Richard Siniscalchi also known as "Silver Fox."
Richard Siniscalchi was born in the Bronx on August 25, 1939 just a block or two away from our Maryann Siniscalchi. They never met each other in their youth even though they attended the same church and even baptized at the same place! As life went on Richard joined the Marines and when he was on break he went with a few buddies to his uncle's in New York and that's when his life was changed forever. He remembers coming home to New York and taking pictures with a camera at the time because his father had asked him to. He remembers taking a million pictures of this young woman that had caught his attention! The very next day they went on their first date and the rest is history!
Less than a year later, October 22, 1960 to be exact, they were married!!! Soon after they had their daughter Lisa in the Bronx and within 3 years they packed up and moved to Florida. They then had their second daughter Suzanne and shortly after moved back to New Jersey. They first lived in Milford and eventually settled into Paramus. He loving remembers how Maryann changed his life and brought him back to the church. She also helped him to do more community and volunteer work by all the work that she did herself. He has been coming to lunch meetings as her guest for years and has been attending almost all events, but now he wants to carry on her work and be a member and help out others as she always did!
