Paramus Rotary Club past president Jennifer Padolina presented Paramus Rotary Club past president Ray Hough with photos of 2 recent Gift of Life children from Rotary District 7490 January 18-29, 2018’s Medical Mission in Vietnam. After 24 hrs of travel, the Team, comprised of 14 medical personnel, headed by Dr. Khanh Nguyen and 2 GOL Rotarians lead by Jennifer arrived in Hue Vietnam. The Gift of Life operations sponsored by District 7490 were performed on Hguyen Vu Hoang Sang (age 2) and Pham Huu Tai (age 16). Both are now recovering and doing well. While on her travels Jennifer also visited the Philippines and the Rotary Club of Makati. Seen here is Jennifer presenting that club’s banner to current Paramus Rotary Club President Sam Stone.

Debbie is the owner of Golf Positive. Golf-Positive uses the game of golf as a tool through keynote speaking, corporate outings, as well as individual and group lessons, to influence positive results in many facets of life. Her Mission is to enhance the lives of individuals through positive learning experiences while enhancing golf skills and knowledge. Debbie is a past LPGA Class A Teaching and Club Professional. She is also a Golf Teaching Professional at River Vale Country Club.
Debbie’s message today was “get into a positive state” using BLAB.
B = Body = Body Language. Use your Power Pose. Avoid a Low Power Pose. You’ll feel your stress go down, and your confidence going UP. Also important to EXERCISE and also to “Make Your Move”, which Debbie demonstrated and all the attendees practiced.
L = Language. Watch your language. Replace negative words and choose to be positive.
A = Appreciation. You can’t be stressed and thankful at the same time..so be thankful. Stare each morning with examples of “what am I thankful for”
B = Breath. Take Deep Breathes
