NJ's Mission of Honor for Cremains of American Vets

Mission Statement: The Purpose is to locate, identify and inter orphaned and abandoned cremains of Veterans. This will be accomplished through the joint effort of various Veteran Organizations. To provide honor and respect to those who have served this country in time of peace and conflict is our mission and honor.
Funeral homes, crematoriums, hospitals, senior homes, veteran homes and prisons help participate in this project The Department of Military & Veterans Affairs assist in identifying the orphaned and abandoned veteran cremains along with interring the remains at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle State Veterans' Memorial Cemetary. The Veterans Administration will also be helping to determine the cremain status for Interment. Cremains DO NOT get a mass burial. NJMOH, along with Honor/Color Guard and with the assistance of funeral directors and motorcycle honor guard deliver the cremains of the veteran for proper burial with full honors! Some cremains are found in cans or boxes with little or no identification. As you can see in the pic above, they even receive the proper resting box.
This endeavor is a labor of love and respect. For those of you who would like to make a donation to this project, please mail to:
