We are not meeting this week due to concerns about the virus.
I (Klas Haglid Tel: 201-722-1233) have offered to be the point person to channel concerns about members that are shut ins or do not want to go out. We will track older people that might need help or just someone to talk too!
Give me a call if there is someone we need to call!
Dr. Pete and Elisabeth have volunteered to make deliveries and/or just call people to see if they are OK?
We had the ribbon cutting in Burma today!
Sofie and Sam Stone feel they are safer in Burma, there is no virus. Some say the virus does not like heat, humidity and sun!
It is interesting to see what our members are doing!

The Paramus Rotary Tower in Burma!
Happy people with a new secure source of drinking water! We had called for a blue tower, but pistachio works also! It all about protecting lives, and letting people have safe drinking water!
Last Week we had a great presentation from Monica Iken.
Monica Iken is the founder of September's Mission, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization devoted to building a positive and meaningful legacy out of the events surrounding 9/11. Iken lost her husband Michael, a bond broker on the 84th floor of Tower Two, in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Iken channeled her grief into establishing September's Mission soon after September 11, 2001. In January 2002, New York Governor George Pataki appointed Iken to the Family Advisory Committee of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation.
It is due in large part to Iken’s tireless efforts that a lasting memorial was established on the footprints of the Twin Towers, honoring all the victims of this horrific tragedy.
Dawn is doing a great job getting new and interesting speakers! You will find some very interesting presentations and meet new and old friends alike.
You never know what you are going to see at Rotary! We all had fun!
