One of our newest members, Elizabeth Spaeth along with her amazing voice led us in God Bless America.
Richard Siniscalchi led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Dan Holdefehr Sr. blessed the night with his invocation.
The Rotary Four Way Test was read by Sheryl Adamoff
The Current Officers, 2020 - 2021 were discharged by Maureen Moran
Soon to be Past President Dr. Peter Kantzilieris gave his farewell speech and his awards to his Board, Directors, and Distinguished members.
Our newest member, Dawn Philibosian, was the awarded "The Rising Star" award. The Rising Star award is given to a Rotarian who best demonstrates a commitment to Rotary’s Four Way Test and the object of Rotary. It is typically given to someone who is early in their path with Rotary. Dawn jumped in completely as soon as he joined our Club to help in any way possible. She even created and ran her first fundraiser a month into her membership!
Past President & Master of Ceremonies Kevin Behnke received the Distinguished Service Award. Kevin, as many know, has been involved in Rotary for many years and never turning anything down. Even through the pandemic, he ran Meals on Wheels without skipping a beat. His dedication to this program over the years and week after week shows just how dedicated to Service above Self he is!
Past President Jay Leone received the Quiet Rotarian Award & the Assistant to the President Award. Jay has been a Rotarian for a while now, and right from the start, he helped with any project at hand without even having to be asked. He always volunteers or just does a task at hand to completion without question. Jay was also Dr. Pete's assistant and played a major role in navigating this year's President through a very tough year in Rotary history.
The Rotarian of the Year Award was given out to Elizabeth Spaeth for all of her hard work this past year. The Rotarian of the Year award recognizes a Rotarian who has made a significant impact in supporting and strengthening the Rotary Club of Paramus. Elizabeth stepped in every time the Club had a need. She booked almost every speaker/presenter the club had this year as well as spent countless hours putting the Radian newsletter together for our club.
After all these formalities were over, it was time to install our Newest President for year 2021- 2022, Madame President Dawn Feorenzo!
