Good afternoon fellow Paramus Rotary Club members.
We have a very full agenda for this Thursday's meeting.
We have our guest speakers Tommy Head presenting, "Adventure Ted"/Childhood Cancer Society.
Our own Elizabeth Spaeth presented at the last Board of Directors Meeting and states, that she is truly honored to be able to promote The Rotary Foundation's Polio Plus initiative in all my marketing materials for my upcoming show, Hoodwinked from Heaven, to be held on June 28, 2020, at the Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC: See show link for details: https://www.hacpac.org/event/hoodwinked-from-heaven/).
* As part of Elisa's mission to help others through the arts, $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to The Rotary Foundation's Polio Plus eradication program.
Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 30 years. Polio remains endemic only in Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Pakistan. If all eradication efforts stopped today, within 10 years, polio could paralyze as many as 200,000 children each year.
I would be most appreciative if Paramus Rotary and, hopefully, District 7490, would include this fundraising initiative in their respective newsletters. If 200 seats are purchased:
The Rotary Foundation's Polio Plus eradication program would receive $1,000, in my name.
I would become a Paul Harris Fellow.
Paramus Rotary would fulfill its $1,000 contribution goal to The Rotary Foundation's Polio Plus eradication program, as requested at the .January 16, 2020, club meeting.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the proposed language highlighted above.
Thank you both and the entire Board of Directors for affording me this wonderful opportunity to honor my late father's memory while helping others through the arts. It is my hope that members from our club and District 7490 will come to the show; it will be my honor to sing for all y'all!.
We have the Maryann Siniscalchi Valentine's Day Brunch and Tricky Tray! This promises to be a great event with a lot of fun for everyone.
So after the holidays to help with the post holiday blues, come to rotary and buy a drink for someone or just enjoy the great company,
Yours in Rotary,
Klas

If you have a really great photo, please e-mail it to me! It might just make the cut and be kept in perpetuity in the annals of Paramus Rotary Archives and make other members smile!
