We had two GREAT presentations that took place on Thursday July 20, 2017.
During the first presentation, Britney Portes, our current scholarship recipient, came to talk to us during her summer vacation about how grateful she is for the scholarship. She will be attending Everest this fall and she knows she wants to go into the field of environmental science. Starting next week she will be attending a program that is sponsored by Suez that will also get her college credits!
Our Vice President, Fred Rohdieck, introduced our Guest speaker, Gayle M. Gruenberg, who came to help us Get Organized! Gayle worked in the accounting field for many years but her true passion is organization and getting people organized. She made the decision about 14 years ago to start the her company, Let's Get Organized! Her goal is to help people make a peaceful space out of their homes. This is not an easy task to accomplish for most and that is why she offers her services.
Gayle is gentle, intuitive, and non-judgmental. She brings energy, a fresh perspective, and FUN to her projects. Gayle gets down in the trenches with her clients, really listens to them, and will bend over backward to find organizing solutions that fit their individual styles and preferences. She is experienced in organizing and in life, trained in techniques designed to benefit a wide range of client challenges, and believes that organizing is an inherently spiritual practice. She shared with us some of her wisdoms about making organizing fun and easy. She specializes in working with professional and entrepreneurial women, women with ADHD, individuals and families going through a divorce, and trustees of estates. She even offers Kosher Organizing!
