This week's presentation was the New Member Induction of our newest 2 members, Adam Consovoy and Arlene Torres!
Adam Consovoy originally grew in Paramus right by the pool on Otto Place. He is a Paramus High School graduate of '03. His family was the host family for the 2004-2005 Gift of Life and also for the Student exchange program. He has had exposure to Rotary all his life. He went on a first blind date where he met his current wife and got married. Once married, he moved back into Paramus where he started working for Liberty Travel and is now entering a life of Service Above Self with the Paramus Rotary!
Arlene Torres was our second inductee. She was burned and raised in Puerto Rico and grew up being in an Army Family. She grew up to be Miss Puerto Rico in 1999. Service Above Self has been a motto as a result and Paramus Rotary became a natural next step in her life. She moved to the states in 2008 after her current husband "stalked" her on Facebook. They dated for 2 years and have been married ever since raising their 5 year old son together! Arlene currently works as a Financial Advisor at Primary Financial in Edison, NJ.

Ed and Irma Lang delivered dictionaries to the last third grade class at Ridge Ranch grammar school. Together they made a 15 minute presentation and all the children were very excited and couldn't wait to get their hands on the dictionaries. He even performed a small magic trick with them at the end and they all had an outstanding time.
