Thank You Paramus Rotary Night at Paramus Band Shell

On the evening of July 12th The Paramus Cultural Arts Council Summer 2016 “Terrific Tuesday’s Concert Series” was held as a ‘Thank You’ to the Paramus Rotary Club for their service to the Paramus community specifically, and to their global efforts to make the world a better place for all. This evening’s concert was held at the Paramus Band Shell which was presented to the Paramus community in 1969 through a donation from the Paramus Rotary Club.

On the same site rests the Paramus Peace Park and Gazebo which in 2011 was likewise presented to the Paramus community through a donation from the Paramus Rotary Club. The Peace Park is dedicated to global peace, multicultural understanding, and conflict resolution. In the Gazebo is the Paramus Peace Pole on which the words “May Peace Prevail on Earth” are written in the most prevalent languages of the community. Pictured by the Gazebo is 2016-2017 Paramus Rotary Club President Nicolas A. Laganella II.

Also in attendance representing the Paramus community and to offer his personal gratitude to the Paramus Rotary Club is (seen above – left) Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera.
