The Effects of Climate Change on Flooding
Jul 09, 2026
Applied climatologist Dr. James SHope uses knowledge of the physical sciences (such as climatology or oceanography) and environmental data/models to address how the climate system impacts human sectors. Using this lens, his research centers on the nexus of climate change and broad human impacts, primarily in New Jersey. In particular, he is interested in how agricultural production, natural resources, and public health will respond to a warming climate, heavier rainfall, and more frequent flooding. jbs284@envsci@rutgers.edu Tel: 848-932-6731 |
