We welcome James Shope, the Assistant Extension Specialist in Climate Services from the Department of Environmental Sciences, New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Stations at Rutgers University. As the Assistant Extension Specialist in Climate Services at Rutgers University, he is responsible for developing innovative, externally-funded research and outreach programs related to climate and weather, climate change impacts, adaptation, and resiliency. As an applied climatologist he is doing work in the urban heat mapping arena in New Jersey. We all enjoyed his presentation and a wonderful lunch togetther. |
