On our 02/05/26 lunch meeting, we welcomed guest speaker Captain Bill Sheehan of the Hackensack Riverkeeper. He is a lifelong Northern N.J. resident who grew up along the Hackensack River. The river flows through the heavily industrialized Meadowlands.
The Hackensack Riverkeeper was founded in 1997, which is a on profit, dedicated to preserving and restoring the Hackensack River Watershed.
Our Beef steak was a huge success.
We raised over $5000. dollars. We look forward to doing it again in the future.
We had three winners for our bread contest! Kevin Behnke's table won most creative. Jamie Arlia & Kevin Shanmans table won shortest. Tallest tower was Spencer Shanman & friends.
Congratulations to our wonderful artists.
Grand Prize was won by Past District Governor Calisto Bertin & his lovely wife Lisa. The basket was worth $750. Our 50/50 cash raffle in the sum of $1000. was won by Past District Governor Joe Dino & his lovely wife Alena ! Congratulations to you both.
We attended and celebrated the Gift of Life Foundation dinner; fun was had by all.
