Paramus Rotary President 2016-2017 Nick Laganella seen presenting his check for a matching $25,000 towards the Club’s Myanmar (Burma) Clean Water Project to 2017-2018 Paramus Rotary Club President Sam Stone and his wife Sophie. Sam just returned from Myanmar (as did Sophie just 6 months ago) where they were able to meet with our local Myanmar “partner”, the Yangon Rotary Club, on this project. With contributions from our members and friends as well as matching contributions for the Rotary Foundation the total funds raised for this much needed Clean Water Project is $90,000 – WELL DONE!!

Our very special guest today were eight members of the 20 member Paramus High School Spartanettes Dance Company. Founded five years ago by PHS Dance Educator Claudine Ranieri, they are a ‘Rockette” inspired dance company. They have been sharing their gift of dance throughout Paramus and beyond. Today the attending members of the Paramus Rotary Club were the beneficiaries of their performance. GREAT JOB LADIES!!
